Tishian Harris – Owner & Head Teacher of Tishian Adelina Dance Academy.
I have been dancing since the age of four, and from a very young age I knew that dance would always be a huge part of my life. My passion for dance has led me to enjoy a successful career both as a professional performer and as a teacher. I gained my DDE Modern and Tap as well as Acrobatic Arts teaching qualification, allowing me to provide students with high-quality, safe and progressive training across a range of disciplines. Alongside teaching, I worked professionally as a dancer for many years and continue to run my own successful Dance company, performing and touring throughout the UK.
These experiences have given me valuable industry knowledge that I am proud to pass on to the next generation of dancers. As the Owner of Tishian Adelina Dance Academy, my greatest passion is helping children grow in confidence, develop their talents and achieve their individual goals.
I have taught locally for many years and have trained many children who have gone on to become professional dancers, as well as competed successfully in high-level competitions. Watching students progress, achieve their goals and develop confidence through dance remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
